Today, there is a sense of mourning floating around my family. You see, yesterday was the last day of Swim Team. Coincidentally, this was our first year of swim team, it was also our first experience with youth sports teams. I have to say that this was one of the best choices we have ever made for our family.
We started out leery of time commitments and personal ability, and ended up winning ribbons & medals at the Central Valley Recreational Swim League Finals. We built great relationships with friends old and new, and committed to a life of swimming. As a family, we cannot wait until next May, when the new season begins. Thank to the Coaches, the Swimmers and the Parents for such a great experience! See you next year!
