I'm Staci Welch, and taking photographs is my favorite job in the whole wide world! I really can't imagine doing anything else in my life that I would be more passionate about. I get to make new friends, then capture their personalities in places that challenge me to keep learning and practicing my art! I love the freedom and the ability to create art from a perfect moment captured!

I had the pleasure of shooting this fun family on one of our sunny Winter weekends – gotta love California! I had a great time playing with the ones I knew, and meeting the ones I didn’t! You know how kids react to the mention of being photographed…well, no difference on this day. It took them a little while to warm up, them even longer to settle down! Too much fun! I guess it doesn’t help the situation if I’m playing with them! Here are few of my favorites…
Hey everyone, and Happy Holidays to you! We want to thank those of you who played a role in making our 2009 as fantastic as it was. I couldn’t possibly be more grateful to all of you who began the process as a Client and ended as a Friend. Also, not to go unmentioned, are those who have been in our lives even longer, thank you, too. I firmly believe that with each encounter and experience something is learned – maybe good, maybe bad. I knew three things about Marisa after meeting her – She’s shy, ‘taken’ and a twin. What surprised me the most about Marisa was as soon as we began shooting, I picked up on how graceful & photogenic she is. It was fun experimenting with new locations, during a time of year that I don’t typically shoot a lot of Seniors. Change is good!! Here are a few of my favorites…
